This Privacy Policy describes BitAML LLC (the “Company”) collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of Personal Information (the “Personal Information”). It applies to the Company’s consulting services, Company’s website (the “Site”), and related services of the Company (collectively “Services”). By using the Company Services you are accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Company’s Terms of Service, and consenting to the procedures described herein. The words “you” and “your” (and any company or other entity a user may represent) refer to each user of the Company’s Site and Services.

We collect Personal Information from you and the device(s) you use when you: use the Services, provide information to us via email or other platforms used for communication, or participate in communications or dispute resolution regarding the Services.

Use of Personal Information

Company uses the collected information for the following general purposes: providing the Services, billing, identification and authentication, user location and geofencing, customer service and services improvement, contact, research, and detection and mitigation of fraud and illegal activities.

Your personal information is not shared with or sold to other entities for commercial purposes, except as required to facilitate your use of the Services, when we have your permission, and under the following circumstances:

 

  • When it is necessary to share information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to property or physical safety, violations of the Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
  • If Company is acquired by or merges with another company. In this event, Company will notify you before information about you is transferred if it will be subject to a different privacy policy.

We store your data in a secure manner in a restricted-access database. However, no data transmitted over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and WE DO NOT REPRESENT OR GUARANTEE THE SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OR OTHER INFORMATION IN ANY FORM. Similarly, we disclaim liability for Personal Information submitted through our Site and you provide us with this data at your own risk. Our databases are located in the United States. If you are outside of the US, you may be located in a region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use or disclosure that differ from US laws, which do not have the same data protection laws as the EU and other regions. By providing your data you consent to: (i) the use of your personal data for the uses identified above in accordance with the Privacy Policy; and (ii) the transfer of your personal data to the US as indicated above and the application of US laws to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information.
 
Third Party Vendors

The Company may use third party vendors, financial partners, and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to offer our Services. These third party vendors have their own terms of service/use and privacy policies that you should read. We are not responsible for the security or privacy of any information collected by other Sites or other services. You should exercise caution and read the third-party privacy policies to understand how the third parties collect, process, share and store your information.

As explained above, we collect Personal Information in various ways depending upon your use of our Site. The Right to Access: You have the right to obtain information about our processing of personal data and a copy of your personal data that we store.
 
The Right to Rectify your Data: You have the right to request that we update your personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
 
The Right to Request Data Erasure: You have the right to have your Personal Information erased from our files if the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, you  withdraw consent and no other legal basis for processing exists, or you believe your fundamental rights to data privacy and protection outweigh our legitimate interest in continuing the processing.

The Right to Restrict or Object to Our Processing: You have the right to restrict or object to our processing if we are processing your data based on legitimate interests or the performance of a task in the public interest as an exercise of official authority (including profiling); using your data for direct marketing (including profiling); or processing your data for purposes of scientific or historical research and statistics.

Data Protection Officer

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing questions in relation to this privacy policy. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, including any requests to exercise your legal rights, please contact the DPO using the details set out below.

Changes

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended terms at Company’s Site. The amended terms will take effect thirty days after they are posted.
